Why Goats – Rethink Tobacco

Why Goats?

Well, besides the fact that they're
hilarious, did you know that they’re also
the epic, legendary “calmers” of nature,
especially on farms and around race
horses? It’s true, goats rock because

they can magically make
other animals mellow.

Okay, a little history   (don't worry, there won't be a test).

For centuries dairy farmers have put goats in cow barns to calm “Bossie” down and increase her milk production. In the early 1900s, racehorse owners picked up on this “great-goat-mojo-thingy” and began putting goats in stables with their horses to soothe their steed’s
pre-race jitters.

And, that's
where the
phrase "get your goat" comes from… steal your competitor’s goat, the horse freaks out, and your horse has
a better chance of winning.
Fast forward and “Don’t let it get your goat”
has become a meme for learning how to
stay chill under pressure.

Cool huh? Okay,
enough with the academics. The long and
short of it is, goats are goofy. They make
laugh and calm us down. And that’s why we
call our QuitLine coaches “Goat-ian Angels.”

Get it?

addiction harshes
